Storm Take 2 from Corban JV

Storm Beats Corban JV 13-11 & 8-2 on a rainy day at Volcanoes Stadium on April 1rst. 

The Storm began the day with an 8-run top of the second inning, highlighted by a leadoff double from JC. Klee. The opposing pitcher struggled to throw strikes afterwards which led to the Storm batting through their lineup in route to 8 runs. 

Max Eaton had a strong performance on the mound pitching 3.2 innings in relief and giving up 0 earned runs. Lance Kreisberg made his pitching debut throwing 10 pitches, 7 for strikes and striking out 2 in a scoreless inning in relief. 

The Storm's offense collected 11 hits in game 1, with JC. Klee, Elias Blackhawk, & Nick Crawford going for multiple hits on the evening. 

In Game 2 Joel Spencer pitched well giving up only 2 earned runs on 2 hits, while striking out 4. He was followed by Joey Genduso making his collegiate pitching debut who threw 2 innings and gave up 0 earned runs. Tyler Rock closed the game out with a scoreless inning of relief. 

The Storm produced 8 runs in the effort, while collecting 8 hits in game 2. It was highlighted by Cody Leming's 2 doubles and a Lance Kreisberg 2-out, bases loaded, bases clearing triple which put the Storm up 6-2 at the time. 

Overall it was a commanding performance for the Storm as they hope to carry the positive momentum into League games against Mt. Hood CC this week. They play a doubleheader at home on Thursday April 3rd, first pitch at 1:00pm 7 follow that with another doubleheader Saturday at Mt. Hood beginning at 1:00pm.
