Traci Stephenson has had a distinguished career in collegiate athletics, transitioning from a successful coaching tenure to a pivotal role in student athlete support. With 15 years of coaching experience, Traci made significant contributions to programs at Willamette University, Western Oregon University, and Chemeketa Community College. Her leadership at Chemeketa from 2010 to 2019 was particularly notable, as she guided the volleyball team to consistent success in the NWAC Championships, including a championship title in 2017. Her coaching excellence was recognized with awards such as the AVCA West Region Coach of the Year in 2015 and NWAC Coach of the Year in 2017.

In 2023, Traci transitioned to her current role as the Student Athlete Success Coordinator at Chemeketa, where she plays a crucial role in supporting student athletes. Her responsibilities encompass academic advising, ensuring compliance with eligibility and program management, organizing retention and engagement activities, and providing overall support to the athletics department. Despite stepping away from coaching, Traci remains actively involved in sports, enjoying activities like beach volleyball, pickleball, and golf. Her passion for athletics is evident in her continued support for Chemeketa's student athletes, as she frequently attends their events to cheer them on.
